Information
and Rules
We
at Southlake RV Park want everyone to enjoy their stay here, so
we have developed some rules to ensure that all may have fun!
- The
speed limit in the park is 5 mph. We have children and animals
in the park and they do not always conform to posted regulations.
Be careful!
- All
drivers must have a current valid driver's license. Tennessee
driving statutes are applicable.
- Pets
must not be left unattended. A pet that barks or cries all day
(or night) interfere's with others enjoyment.
- Pets
must be on a leash any time they are outside of your RV or tent.
- No
dangerous pets are allowed in the campground at any time. This
includes not only dogs and cats, but exotics also.
- Please
pick up your pet's droppings. We recommend you use a plastic bag.
- All
visitors (those not registered) must check in at the lodge. There
is a $3.00 fee per person per night.
- The
children's playground equipment is provided for fun and exercise
of young children, however, the parents are responsible for their
activities and safety.
- No
firearms, BB guns or slingshots are permitted.
- Campfires
are permitted. Firewood -and ice- are for sale at the lodge during
business hours.
- Do
not, for any reason, cut or trim any trees or
shrubs in the park or adjacent land.
- Keep
noise and music "for your ears only". Quiet hours are
from 10PM to 9AM.
- Place
trash and garbage bags in the dumpster at the front of the lodge.
- The
swimming pool is always open, with the exception of cleaning time
(between 8-9AM). Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied
by an adult. The pool is to be used by registered campers only.
There is no lifeguard on duty-swim at your own risk. NO glass
is allowed in the pool area. Please follow quiet time hours if
swimming late!
- Fishing
by registered campers is permitted without charge. A Tennessee
State Fishing License is required.
- No
alcoholic beverages are allowed off your site. Please keep this
within responsible limits. No alcohol is permitted in the common
areas (pool, lodge, docks, etc).
- Check
out time is 12 Noon.
- No
washing of RV's, cars, etc., without permission. The charge is
$3.00 for a car, truck, van or motorcycle; $5.00 for an RV. We
also have staff available to wash your RV for you-price by the
foot. Check at the lodge.
- RV
dumping by non campers-Fee-$5.00.
- No
electric heaters are to be used as a main heat supply without
permission from the management. There is a $3.00 per day per heater
charge if permitted (heaters must be pre-approved).
- No
refunds after set-up unless there is a medical emergency.
- Park
only on your site. No non-functioning vehicles allowed except
in storage ($45.00 per mo.). If you need more room, or have more
than one vehicle, see management.
- All
camping fees are to be paid in advance.
- Telephone
messages are posted on the bulletin board in the hallway in the
lodge. No messages (unless in case of an emergency) are delivered
to your site.
- The
showers and laundry are open 24 hours a day for your use. They
are in the lodge. Please help us keep them clean. Small children
must be accompanied by an adult.
- Mail,
store, fishing supplies, live bait, and adult room are located
in the lodge.
- The
bath house, laundry, and pay phone are located in the front of
the lodge. At night, please use the back door.
- When
leaving, please clean up your campsite (including BBQ grill) and
deposit trash in dumpsters.
- Volleyballs,
horseshoes, and basketballs are provided upon request at the lodge.
There is no charge to use them, but if lost or broken, replacement
value is required.
- We
do not accept checks at the time of check-in.
- The
management assumes no responsibility for loss due to fire, theft
or accident.
- This
is a private campground. Anyone breaking these rules may be asked
to leave. No refunds under these conditions.
- A
reservation is not required but is reommended at peak times and
holidays. There is a one night cancellation fee.
- Deposits
are non-refundable unless cancelled, in writing, a minimum of
two (2) weeks prior to arrival date.
- A
deposit quarantees that we will have a site available for you.
If you prefer a specific site, we will try to accommodate your
request, but this is not always possible.
- Paths
are for pedestrian traffic only.
- Many
animals, such as ducks, squirrels, rabbits and birds, are wild.
Use caution if feeding or touching. They may bite or scratch.
We are not responsible for their actions.
